How far do you go?
Most trips are within 30-40 minutes.  Occasionally, and only if it is really worthwhile, do we spend more time in the van.

What do you use for transportation and who does the driving?

We use Ford vans with booster seats for all children.   All of our drivers are at least 25 years old and are required to have a clean driving record.

What if we are running late in the morning?
Drop-off is from 8:50-9:00.  Camp begins at 9:00, but we don't actually leave until about 9:20.  If you are running late just call (415) 318-6545 and we will try and wait for you.

What takes place during the before and after care program?
Mountain Lake Park has a playground, a lake and plenty of open space.  Most kids enjoy the playground after a full day out in nature.  Like the rest of the day it is fully supervised.

How safe is Kids Nature Adventures?
We try to provide the safest camp conditions possible.  Kids Nature Adventures does have inherent risks that are different from a "classroom" setting, but we try to minimize these risks with adequate supervision, competent staff and sound judgment.

What if it rains?
We hardly ever get rain during the summer months, but if we do it doesn't stop us from going on an adventure.  Rain offers opportunities for even more fun.  Just dress appropriately and remember: there is no such thing as bad weather - just bad clothing.
